Flow Bangle

Sometimes I lose myself in my work so much so that I get into a flow that buoys me along in complete entrancement with what I’m doing. So it was with making the Flow Bangle.

For many years I had a love affair with silver and only worked in this supple metal. Silver has a certain timeless lustre I love, especially in larger pieces, of which the Flow Bangle is my favourite. Sculpturally satisfying from all angles, the feminine form is evoked in this curvaceous piece. Its simplicity reminds me of a Zen principle: when pouring water, just pour water.
