Known as fierce, fearless and with an appetite for foreign lands, Vikings also loved jewellery and silver jewellery in particular. Used for both adornment and trade, their jewellery had an everyday functionality that appeals.
The Gold Viking Chain, my play on their sturdier, heavy knit silver ones, is handwoven from 18-carat gold wire. It is sheath-like in appearance and has a handsome ebony and gold slip clasp.
