Silver Ndebele Cuff
An oxidized silver cuff with a rich selection of colours and inlays made from 18-carat yellow gold, lapis lazuli, bloodwood, African blackwood, and two 15-point white diamonds.
Vibrant, geometric, symmetrical, abstract—these are among the words that best describe the paintings of the Ndebele people. Moved by Esther Mahlangu’s mission to ensure the survival and resurgence of Ndebele art, I borrowed elements of their oeuvre and added a twist of Hombisa to create the Ndebele Cuffs.
The Silver Ndebele Cuff is made of oxidized silver with inlays of 18-carat yellow gold, lapis lazuli, bloodwood, African blackwood, and two 15-point white diamonds.
