Shweshwe Stud Earrings
40 point top white brilliant diamonds set in Makassar ebony and 18ct yellow gold.

Shweshwe is to fabric what the Milky Way is to the firmament.
With a history dating back to Arab and Phoenician trade, bolts of intricately patterned indigo cloth were given to King Moshweshwe of Lesotho by early European missionaries – and the name shweshwe stuck. In those early days, the designs, often incorporating concentric circles, were made using picotage, a fabric printing method very similar to my own Milky Way technique.
Available in ebony and sterling silver or a mixture of silver and 18-carat gold, the Shweshwe Earrings feature 10-point diamonds surrounded by the hallmark shweshwe pattern made using the Milky Way technique.
